Neo Industries has been nickel plating caster molds since 1988 and has developed a proprietary box plating technique specifically for CSP molds.
We understand that the use of nickel for reconditioning mold coppers in continuous casters has become an economic necessity in today’s primary steel operations. We also understand that down time is lost time so we get the job done efficiently, effectively and promise that it will be done right - every time!
Product quality is enhanced as nickel plated coppers eliminate copper pick-up (star cracking) or hot shortness in the steel. Nickel’s physical properties, higher hardness and wear resistance allow for improved productivity resulting from longer campaigns.
